Looks like the carpet guys were here today. They prepped the downstairs floor, including filling the expansion joints and installing tack-strips around the perimeter of the room.

And we have a bathroom finally!
The toilet is leaking on the floor a tiny bit, and the hot water isn't hooked up yet, but - woot!
